Lonely Towns 04:00
As the first drop falls the whole sky starts coming down the windshield fogs looking glass drowns the land scene sprawls see no end to a wanderers plight as the rain makes sound on the passing grown dreaming they could walk away believing just cant keep them from the cold feel the car crawl as the world goes rushing by think you've seen it all through the eyes of the drivers side seek the details, miss the meaning the pictures bigger than what you're seeing the lonely towns you're passing on the freeway someones in there sleeping on their own dreaming they could walk away sleeping in a bed they made believing just cant keep them from the cold

Vessel 04:29
Alone on the ocean Just to get pearls you toss out the notion there's no edge to the world how deep is your weakness for bright polished stones collections for keeping worth cracking your bones? to sink or to swim but will greed keep your head straight a sun shone on patience like developing film the details all rush in but you're emptier still if i'm just the vessel then who's at the helm? if i'm at the vessel then who's at the helm?

In Betweens 05:22
Have I left the innocence of youth Misplaced my trust in truths? I dont feel the same Was it you who took the abuse even when i wanted to now were nothing but some names What have we but our bodies and dreams? Our successes and failures and no in-betweens Have i left the innocence of youth? Through words that i misused and theres nothing i can change have i frightened off my muse in this world i cant get used to alone and rearranged What have we but our bodies and dreams Our successes and failures and no in-betweens and all my fond memories of the years that i've turned in get let go like wishes in the wind oh howd it get so bad like some storm in my head oh the fractures and cracks and a cold abandoned bed this isnt television what have we but our bodies and dreams our successes and failures and no inbetweens and all my fond memories of the years that i've turned in get let go like wishes in the wind

Oh little sister of mine listen to your brother you cant measure yourself on the scales of others you've got plenty of time to find your place in everything oh little sister of mine listen to your brother The young will want it all and the old will fear their call but its those in the middle with everything to gain afterall Oh little sister of mine listen to your mother you cant worry yourself with the troubles of others you've got plenty of time to find your place in everything oh little sister of mine, with them, dont even bother The young will want it all and the old will fear their call but its those in the middle with everything to gain afterall

In My Sleep 02:40
I've been talkin in my sleep i've been saying all those things i've been meaning to say now were sleeping head to feet and your toes dont care to hear me speak You've got such big dreams down there but theres no place for me the whole worlds tangled in your hair but theres no room for me I've been searching in my sleep i've been seeing all these things that i just cant face i saw a tin can where the sun should be saw the jar i keep my memories in break and they all just blew away

You were stuck inside a dream that i was in filled with moments passed, and things that had once been you kept time with broken clocks and stubborn sand reliving those old thoughts, time and time again while i was stuck inside the person i had been just uncertainties, and looking for an end i kept time with broken clocks and stubborn sand letting go is just loosening a hand I know dumb mistakes dont have to stay that way Its what you take away that can make them great We were stuck inside a world that we had built only certainties, a glass that never spilled we had danced with wicked ghosts and crooked men when the music started we were just the same to them i know some mistakes wasnt all i made we've all something to say but our tongues are frayed we all just want to believe something can ease our earthly grief we all know what we have seen, it just takes a crown to make the king
